Unless otherwise indicated, all events are open to all levels, ages, and genders. Full vaccination required; masks optional. Pre-registration on Eventbrite (links below) required (except for Hot Courts).
Refund of registration fees (less roughly the nonrefundable ticketing and payment-processing fees paid by MTA) will be issued to the original form of payment upon request if received more than 48 hours in advance of the start of an event. No-shows and requests received later than this will not be refunded.

MTA Hot Courts (ongoing)

Time: 6:30-9:30 pm (drop in/out as you desire)

Cost: $2 court-maintenance/improvement donation requested

Hot Courts happen every Thursday evening, year-round. Simply stop by anytime between 6:30 pm and 9:30 pm (no partner needed) for some casual and fun doubles tennis.
The exact format varies, but generally consists of four no-ad games followed by a tiebreaker, after which those who had a bye on the previous round are brought in, partners and opponents are switched up, and play begins again.
The cost is only a 2-buck donation per evening, all of which goes to help defray the costs of court maintenance and repair (nets, windscreens, etc.).

Join us for some friendly competition at the MTA Round-Robin Doubles event - it's all about teamwork and fun on the court! We’ll play doubles, with rotating partners, so no need to sign up with a partner. Several short rounds. Bring your racquet, sense of fun, and a nibble or two to share with your fellow tennis players on our byes and/or at the conclusion of play.

Celebrate the turning of the season with some fun, casual, doubles tennis! Partners will stick together (you can indicate your partner during registration, or we'll pair you up) and will rotate through different opponents. The winning team gets to choose an MTA-themed prize (e.g., wine glass, performance cap, water bottle) PLUS they get to be the caretaker of the coveted turkey trophy for the coming year (don't worry - it's small!). Please bring a yummy dish to enjoy together before, during, and/or after the tennis - and if it's Fall/Thanksgiving-themed, even better!
