Unless otherwise indicated, all events are open to all levels, ages, and genders. Full vaccination required; masks optional. Pre-registration on Eventbrite (links below) required (except for Hot Courts).
Refund of registration fees (less roughly the nonrefundable ticketing and payment-processing fees paid by MTA) will be issued to the original form of payment upon request if received more than 48 hours in advance of the start of an event. No-shows and requests received later than this will not be refunded.

MTA Hot Courts (ongoing)
Date: Every Thursday Evening
Time: 6:30-9:30 pm (drop in/out as you desire)
Location: Montclair Courts, Oakland (Mountain at Colton)
Cost: $2 court-maintenance/improvement donation requested

Hot Courts happen every Thursday evening, year-round. Simply stop by anytime between 6:30 pm and 9:30 pm (no partner needed) for some casual and fun doubles tennis.
The exact format varies, but generally consists of four no-ad games followed by a tiebreaker, after which those who had a bye on the previous round are brought in, partners and opponents are switched up, and play begins again.
The cost is only a 2-buck donation per evening, all of which goes to help defray the costs of court maintenance and repair (nets, windscreens, etc.).

Doubles (no partner needed)
Round-robin (different partner/opponents each round)
Several short rounds (4 no-ad games + first-to-five tiebreak)
Bring your racquet, sense of fun, and a nibble or two to share with your fellow tennis players on our byes and/or at the conclusion of play.
MTA provides the courts, balls, and format!
Open to players of all ages, genders, levels (even beginners)
MTA membership is not required - everyone welcome!
Bring a snack to share; BYOB

Tennis - Food - Merriment!
Join us for an evening of tennis, socializing, and dinner! Bring your own beverage - everything else provided. (dinner-only option also available for non-playing folks)
Hang out at beautiful Davie Tennis Stadium, play a few rounds of doubles, have a banh mi sandwich and salad (and someting sweet for dessert), enjoy some good converation - and appreciate the evening! We'll have 3 courts from 6-8pm, and 4 from 8-9pm.

By popular demand, the Montclair Tennis Association will be hosting a Singles tennis event! This event will be open to all genders with a USTA rating (or equivalent level of play) of 3.0-3.5 and the winner will be awarded an MTA swag prize! Be prepared for some fun tennis and rigorous exercise. Participants will be limited to 8 individuals, so sign up early.

Let's play some tennis in the World Team Tennis format! Our event host will divide players into two teams, who will then compete against each other - singles, doubles, subbing players mid-game, cheering, and more! Bring your racquet, sense of fun, and a nibble or two to share with your fellow teammates and opponents! Open to all genders and levels of play, even beginners.
